Captain Mike on the Nomad scores big on the local Dorado, which are surprisingly still here in great numbers. A 3/4 day, full day trip will do it. They are not that far. For info on this trip, or any of our other trips, just text PRICE to 619.508.7823 and you will receive a pricelist with all 26 of our boats for hire with pricing for every trip offered.
The Yellowfin Tuna are expected to arrive in mid to late July. Optimal trips for this species start with a minimum full day 12 hour trip, with an overnight or 1.5 day trip highly recommended. We expect this year to be especially good for this species due to a predicted hot summer and unusually warm waters. This fish is mostly hunted on the troll, with visual sightings, and using side scan sonar, but occasionally they show up on the kelp beds. Regardless of how or where, you can be sure that this fish will put up a great fight and taste great!
